At the weekend, we decided to brave the outdoors and venture up to London to have a little peruse at the Design Museum.

In comparison to its other famous London counterparts, the Design Museum was only founded in 1989 by Sir Terence Conran - located in the Shad Thames area in a former warehouse. But, with a casual £17.5m donation from Conran, the Museum moved to its new home in a Grade II listed building in Kensington in November 2016.

History lesson complete.
