After four gruelling years studying Industrial Engineering (BA Hons (Ind) Eng - if you're interested) at university in South Africa and passing - which was nothing short of a miracle - he thought there was something better out there for him. After a couple of years consulting in safety, health and environmental management he was convinced of it.
He finally found his niche in sales and marketing when entering a fifteen year career in exhibitions helping marketing professionals build successful and engaging campaigns around events. During this time he completed a short certificate course in marketing. It was this experience in the creative industry that attracted him to Storm12, in order to broaden his horizons into other related areas of marketing.
He has a fascination for both marketing and sales and how the two worlds collide. His boys keep him busy at home and on the pitch, but when he does get some free time it's either on his bike, in the veggie patch, in his tool shed or watching/reading science fiction.
